"We
once had a frustrated inmate ask us "What good do you
think you do anyway?", he was right you know we don't do
any good... but God can produce mighty
results through our puny efforts. This is just a little
reminder that what you do is definitely worthwhile. Bless you
CMA AR Prison Team, you are truly laying up treasures in
Heaven.

This Mother’s Day, after our
daughters had gone home, we decided to take a run to Hot
Springs. Jason, Danny and I donned our colors and helmets and
headed out. I had been looking for my particular makeup in the
color I use and they were out here in Arkadelphia. So our
first stop was the Supercenter on Central in Hot Springs.
We checked it out, but they too
were out of the color I was hunting for. So, we debated going
to Benton. We decided to try the Walmart on the west side of
Hot Springs. We arrived in the parking lot and headed for the
front doors.
Just as we got to the doors, a
man came up to us calling out,"ma’am, sir?" We stopped and he
asked us, "Are y’all that Christian group from Mena?" to which
we said yes. He then told us this story, "Y’all visited me
when I was in ‘diagnostic’ and you were the only good thing
that happened to me there. It’s not a good place to be". He
said he knew that it probably wasn’t us in particular, but he
wanted to thank us. CMA did something good for him while he
was there and he just was so glad to have a chance to thank
someone in person.
When we wear these colors, they
run true. It’s a visible demonstration of a spiritual value
that goes far beyond the colors. Someone had already planted
and watered, but we got to reap a harvest of thanks.
Amazing still, we thought we
were on a search for makeup, with no particular thoughts other
than that, yet God had a divine appointment for us. Wear your
colors and be prepared to get blessed!
